The Early Years

I received a B.S. from the University of Florida before attending Stetson University College of Law. After receiving my law degree, I served as a Judge Advocate for the United States Air Force. While working with JAG, I prosecuted and defended court-martial cases, became a certified Military Judge, was awarded the Air Force Commendations Medal and obtained the rank of Captain.

Coming to Entertainment Law

Shortly after leaving the Air Force in 1974, I moved to New York City and began practicing in entertainment law. Over the next several years, I worked as a lawyer for CBS and ABC Sports handling talent preparation and acquisition, and a variety of other legal responsibilities. During that time, I developed a passion for working with creative people.

In 1981, I moved to California to take a job with NBC. Over the next 20 years, I continued to excel working in the entertainment industry with Universal Television, Warner Bros. Television and NBC Studios. I have had the pleasure of assisting many successful people and have handled business affairs for the Executive Producer of the very popular Law and Order series.

In 2003, I moved back to Florida to start my own private practice focusing on entertainment and business law. My Orlando area clients benefit greatly from many years of experience and exceptional legal knowledge. I have dealt with the most influential executives within the television industry and still retain vital connections to many such individuals.
